Engr. Brian Tan
A Civil engineer in Geotechnical Engineering who graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. After the board exam, he went to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for his Master Degree and was fortunate enough to be offered the MIT Presidential Fellowship and Arnold Schoettler Fellowship. His research focused on characterizing hydrate-saturated soils from Hydrate ridge int the Cascadia Continental Margin. Moving back to the Philippines in 2004, he has trained under the guidance of Dr. Salvador Reyes, the foremost geotechnical engineering expert in the Philippines today. In order to further enchance his Geotechnical Engineering knowledge, he has been taking his Doctorate at the University of the Philippines-Diliman and have started working on his dissertation under the guidance of Dr. Mark Zarco.
